Reporting to the Director, Commercial Development, the Senior Specialist, Commercial Development is accountable for identifying, evaluating and executing opportunities that enable operational performance or drive commercial value. This position is also responsible for economic analysis, negotiating contracts related to crude, natural gas, diluent and NGL on all modes of transportation.
The Senior Specialist, Commercial Development partners with leaders in Trading, Logistics and Upstream Operations, to recommend commercial proposals related to existing and new commercial assets, ensuring that opportunities align with business plans and corporate strategies.
The scope includes assisting in the development and implementation of the Commercial strategy.
The position will be accountable for providing day to day leadership and management of 2-3 commercial staff members.
This is a full time employee position working in our Calgary office. Candidate must be able to travel to the US and internationally.
